Keerthy Suresh shared a studio picture from her nine-hour dubbing session

Chennai: National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh has now shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a dubbing session for her upcoming project, revealing that she spent nine hours dubbing.
Sharing a photo of herself in the dubbing studio on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “Me at the end of a nine-hour dubbing day. #AboutTomorrow.”
Her fans believe the post reflects her unwavering dedication to multilingual cinema, where she dubs herself in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam to bring authenticity to her characters.
Her dubbing has played a crucial role in enhancing her films. In fact, her dubbing added emotional depth to both the Tamil and Telugu versions of her film “Mahanati.” It captured the nuances of Savitri, helping the film win a National Award.
In “Kalki 2898 AD,” she voiced the AI character Bujji in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and English—receiving her critical acclaim. Bujji’s humorous and emotional portrayal captured the audience’s attention, proving her talent as a voice artist.
Keerthy’s dedication distinguishes her in an industry where very few actresses dub their own lines in different languages.
Fans have high expectations for Keerthy’s various projects. In Telugu, she will be seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda in director Ravi Kiran Kola’s action-drama “Rowdy Janardhanan,” while in Malayalam, she has Rishi Sivakumar’s “Thottam,” a powerful action-adventure film that will be released in multiple languages.
“Thottam,” in particular, has generated considerable interest as it brings together a unique on-screen pairing between her and action star Antony Varghese (Pepe). According to sources, this action drama will showcase Keerthy Suresh in a never-before-seen avatar, marking her grand comeback to Malayalam cinema.
Setting new dimensions in action filmmaking, “Thottam” will feature groundbreaking stunt choreography by the internationally renowned V Action Design Team, led by Muhammad Irfan, known for his stellar work in “The Shadow Strays,” “The Raid” franchise, “Headshot,” “The Night Comes for Us,” and “The Big 4.” This collaboration marks a first of its kind in Indian cinema. The film’s music is composed by National Award-winning Harshvardhan Rameshwar, known for his powerful soundtracks in films like “Arjun Reddy,” “Kabir Singh,” and “Animal.”
In Tamil, she plays a lawyer in director Praveen S. Vijay’s film, which also stars renowned director Mysskin. Kirti has also bagged a Hindi series ‘Akka’, which is a revenge thriller and will showcase her strong acting skills.
