Kejriwal is sitting in Sheeshmahal by writing letters leaving the worry of floods in Delhi – Anurag Thakur

New Delhi (IANS). Union Minister Anurag Thakur has blamed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for the flood situation in Delhi, alleging that he is running away from his responsibility.

Anurag Thakur said, “Arvind Kejriwal only knows how to do politics of escape. He has a long history of running away from responsibilities. His account will be kept in history as a fugitive leader. If there is smog in Delhi, then Punjab is responsible, if there is smog, the workers and watchmen who smoke beedis and light bonfires are responsible, if there is congestion in hospitals, then Bihar is responsible, if there is mis-management in Covid, UP people are responsible and now Haryana is responsible for the floods.

After all, how long will Kejriwal continue to be the mastermind of poor and childish politics by putting his responsibilities on the shoulders of others. They have engaged their leaders on flood tourism, where they are doing photo shoots in knee-deep water. Instead of working on the ground, Kejriwal is sitting in Sheeshmahal by writing letters. What a condition of Delhi Kejriwal and company have made. History is the witness that whenever a non-serious person is sitting on the chair of power, then the public has to bear the consequences.

Speaking further, Thakur said, “In the last 9 years, we have never seen him taking responsibility. What is the reason for this condition of the people of Delhi? Today the Chief Minister is confined to his house only. The condition is that even when it comes to pollution, they blame others. When it comes to liquor scam, instead of taking action against his minister, he blames others. Today Delhi is asking when will Kejriwal take over his responsibility. Kejriwal once used to talk of making Delhi Paris. Once upon a time there was talk of making 300 lakes. Today every locality has turned into a pond. This in itself explains the condition of the capital being ruined by Kejriwal.”

Referring to the situation created in his home state Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rains, the Union Minister said, “Himachal Pradesh has suffered a lot due to heavy rains. Around 88 people have tragically lost their lives so far. Roads and bridges have been destroyed and destroyed. People’s personal, private properties like houses and shops have also suffered a lot. It will take a long time to recover from all this. All the states have been given immediate help of about 8 thousand crore rupees. Immediately leaving for a three-day tour of Himachal Pradesh, I will go there to assess the loss caused to the general public and try to help them in every possible way.
