Kerala CM criticises Rahul Gandhi’s statement on nuns

Kerala: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement regarding the recent alleged attack on some nuns.
The Chief Minister stated that Rahul Gandhi’s statement was made without complete information and could create confusion in a sensitive matter. He stressed that it is important to maintain a neutral and factual approach to such issues, rather than commenting for political gain.
Vijayan, speaking to the media, said that the police and administration are investigating the case and legal action will be taken against the culprits. He appealed to the public to await the outcome of the investigation and ignore rumors.
The matter has sparked political turmoil in the state. Both opposition and supporters have exchanged statements, but the Chief Minister clarified that there will be no interference in the functioning of the law and administration.
The Kerala government maintains that women’s safety and the protection of religious institutions are top priorities. He stated that any form of violence or insecurity will not be tolerated in the state.
