Kerala: First with Dileep, now with the victim; Adoor Prakash has changed his stance

Thiruvananthapuram: UDF convenor Adoor Prakash, who had earlier supported actor Dileep in this case, has now changed his stance. Adoor Prakash, who initially said that Dileep had received justice and that the government was appealing because they had nothing else to do, is now saying that everything should be done to ensure justice for the victims. Regarding Dileep, Adoor Prakash had said, “Dileep has received justice, criticizing the government’s decision to appeal, saying they have nothing else to do.”
“If there was any lapse on the part of the prosecution, the government should openly admit it. The Congress and the UDF are now with the victims. The KPCC president and senior leaders have said this,” Adoor Prakash said.
Adoor Prakash met the media after casting his vote in the morning and came out in support of Dileep. Adoor Prakash said that Dileep had received justice in the actress assault case. He also said that he has a close relationship with Dileep and is therefore personally happy. “As an actress, we are with her. However, everyone should get justice. Dileep has received justice. He is more than just an artist; he is directly connected to me. The court itself has given justice to Dileep. Dileep himself has said that this case was fabricated under the leadership of a senior police officer. The government used the arrest for political gain. Since the government has nothing else to do, they are appealing. The government is misleading the people,” Adoor Prakash had said.
