Kerala: Internet calls add to the mystery in the C J Roy case, actress raises questions
KOCHI: Actress Maya Menon strongly criticized the comparison of the deaths of Confident Group owner C J Roy and expatriate businessman Sajan Parayil. The actress pointed that the living conditions and causes of death of both are different.

Sajan Parayil, who committed suicide when he was on the brink of losing his entire hard-earned savings due to government’s negligence, is a victim of government’s cruelty. However, many mysteries surrounding the death of C J Roy are yet to be unraveled. Diary entries say that he had planned suicide months ago. Three internet calls made just before his death increase these doubts.
Roy was a person who was able to influence the government and the media by throwing money. Sajan, on the other hand was an honest man who never cheated anyone and walked the straight path. These two are completely different incidents. The cruelty of the Kerala government drove Sajan to commit suicide. He was a victim of government’s apathy. Before the full truth behind Roy’s secrets comes out, it is not right to compare his death with the suicide of an innocent man like Sajan. Their lives are entirely different. So please leave that poor honest man, Sajan, alone. Please give him justice in whatever way we can.
