Kerala: The court has stayed police action against Rahul Mamkootathil until a decision is reached

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The decision on Rahul Mamkootathil’s anticipatory bail plea in the second case will be delivered on Wednesday. The court has directed that no police action should be taken against Rahul until the final decision on the anticipatory bail plea is made on December 10. The first phase of the local body elections has begun; voting is taking place today from Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam.
The court’s order came after hearing detailed arguments on the petition. Rahul’s lawyers requested that an interim stay on the arrest be granted until the order was issued.
