Kerala: Youth arrested with three kg of ganja
Kerala: In connection with the election campaign, the Deputy Excise Commissioner’s squad arrested a man who was selling 3.170 kilograms of dried cannabis stored inside his home. Shibu Lal (33) was arrested from his home in Vadakkad, Idukki. He was selling cannabis wholesale and retail in the Cheruthoni-Idukki areas. The accused also had a habit of releasing his dog and causing panic when officers went for inspections. He has a previous case of attempted murder registered against him. He had been under Excise surveillance for months. The Circle Inspector said that more arrests will be made in the case once the source of the seized cannabis is traced. Circle Inspector Ranjit Kumar T. led the inspection, and Excise Inspector Rajesh Kumar K.V., Preventive Officers Shiju P.K., Jaleel P.M., and Sijumon K.N. participated.
