Kidnapping of student at gunpoint
Jaleshwar: In a shocking incident, a girl student was allegedly abducted at gunpoint in Jaleshwar in Odisha’s Balasore district on Friday.
According to reports, Kamrada police has reportedly foiled the kidnapping attempt. The report said that the attempted kidnapping incident allegedly took place in Peer Padiya area.
It is also noteworthy that when an attempt was made to kidnap, the local people pounced on the kidnapper and caught him.
Local people also recovered a gun and two live bullets from the miscreant. After this he immediately handed over the young man to the police. He also gave the gun and bullets to the Kamarda police.
According to police sources, preliminary investigation has revealed that the young man was trying to kidnap the girl because of a one-sided love affair.
