Kidnapping of truck driver and recovery of ransom of one lakh rupees
Tawdu. A case of kidnapping of a truck driver loaded with wheat has come to light near village Khorikalan of Tawadu sub-division under Nuh district. According to the information, Sudhir resident of Majrakalan has lodged an FIR in the Sadar police station and has given a statement that on 29th November, after filling government wheat from Tawdu in our vehicle, the driver Pankaj, resident of Bhawanigarh district, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, was going to Rewari.
As soon as the train had reached ahead of Khorikalan, at 4.30 in the evening, the Creta car was placed in front of the truck and the Belano car with temporary number was placed behind the truck. Four youths got down from both the vehicles, abused the truck driver, held him by his neck, snatched his mobile phone and forcibly kidnapped him in the Creta vehicle.
Took the truck and driver near Kapriwas bridge. After that, he talked to me through WhatsApp call from the driver’s phone and said that if I give Rs 1 lakh, he will release the truck and the driver. After paying Rs 1 lakh from my different phone numbers, my truck driver left me with the wheat and threatened to kill me if I informed the police.
Police have started action by registering an FIR against Sumit, Yogesh, Noman, Aslam under various sections. Singham SP Narendra Bijarnia said that considering the seriousness of the matter, the matter has been handed over to Crime Investigation Branch Tawadu in-charge Subhash Chaudhary. Meanwhile, Crime Investigation Branch Tawadu in-charge Subhash Chaudhary has claimed that the case will be exposed soon.
