KK Menon laments the lack of good content on the silver screen
Mumbai (IANS). Actor Kay Kay Menon, known for his stellar performances and impactful roles, feels there is a dearth of good cinema on the big screen and it is because of OTT that audiences are able to watch good content.
The actor who has been entertaining us for decades will soon be seen in the film ‘Love All’ which will bring the sport of badminton to the big screen for the first time.
The actor shared about his love for films, sports.
Talking about his film, he said, “If you love cinema, then I think our film is for you. There is a dearth of good cinema on the silver screen. Because of the many OTT channels, the audience can now enjoy good content. This is the first time that badminton as a sport has been featured in a film. Badminton is the star of our film. This film is a must watch for kids and I think adults will learn a lot from it as well.”
Sharing about the importance of sports in children’s life, he said, “I believe children should get open ground. Outdoor is essential for their life. Otherwise it becomes problematic. Today children are busy with their electronic devices. and it feels bad that they do not like to play outside. I am glad that the government has made sports education compulsory in schools today. Sports teaches us to balance life. It makes us accept victory and defeat in the game of life. teach to do.”
The actor further added, “I have always played some or the other sport in my life and I think I will definitely continue to play till the day I die.”
‘Love All’ is a sports drama that focuses on the importance of sports in the lives of children.
The film is directed by Sudhanshu Sharma and stars Kay Kay Menon, Swastika Mukherjee, Sriswara and Robin Das.
The film is all set to release in theaters on 25th August.
