Knife attack in picnic spot, 5 youth arrested

Bilaspur. An incident of knife attack has come to light in the district. It is being told that there was an altercation between two groups during the picnic and then the dispute escalated. After which there was kicking and punching from both sides and knife fighting also took place. A young man was seriously injured in a knife attack. When this incident gained political momentum, the police took action in the case and arrested 5 accused. This matter is of Ratanpur police station area.

According to the information, Ratanpur residents Nitesh Kahra, Uddhav Bariha, Sanjay Sidar, Udit Armo had gone for picnic in Dulhara pond. During this time, there was a dispute with the people of the other group regarding the issue of abuses and then the matter turned into a fight. During this, the accused made a fatal attack on Udit Armo with a knife in his stomach and chest. The victim youth is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur. This entire incident happened on 5th November. After this case became political, Ratanpur police took action and arrested five accused today. The names of the arrested accused are Durgesh Kumar, Lokesh Kumar Koshale, Raju Yadav, Arvind Kaushik, Pankaj Sahu. Police is taking action against the accused under sections 147, 148, 149, 294, 506, 323, 307.
