When you speak you speak in ways such as:
Spoken language begins with sound waves i.e. voice waves. These sound waves emerge from our mouth, throat and lungs.
Words have to be selected in the spoken language. The words sound waves are used together to mean something.
Sentences are made by joining words together, in which sentences are made up of one or more words and when spoken, they also have a meaning.
Grammar is a rule of spoken language. It tells us how to speak by combining words and sentences.

We can make sentences by joining these words together.
We can use these sentences to express our thoughts and feelings.
Once we understand these rules, we can start using spoken language. We can use our voices to form words and sentences, and we can use these words and sentences to communicate with others.
Spoken language and body language are both important aspects of communication, but they are different from each other. Spoken language expresses thoughts and feelings using words and sentences, while body language communicates using body language, facial expressions, and eye contact.
Spoken language and body language work together to make the message more effective and complete. For example, when a person says, “I’m so happy,” their smile and twinkle in their eyes support their words.
