Former MLA Bollam Mallaiah Yadav said that Kodad is a symbol of religious harmony. On the occasion of Ramzan, he extended his festival greetings to Muslims at the Sarantpet Eidgah in Kodad town limits on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Muslims and Hindus live together in harmony throughout the Kodad constituency, respecting each other. He said that crores of rupees were sanctioned to Muslim minorities during the BRS regime and development was carried out. He praised the then Chief Minister KCR for not only renovating mosques but also increasing the salaries of Maulanas.
Municipal Chairperson Kusuma Venkataratnam Babu extended Ramzan greetings to Muslims. She said that she will work for the development of minorities. Municipal Vice Chairman Devarapalli Malleswari, Commissioner Ramadevi DSP Srinivasa Reddy, Councilor Cheema Naresh, BRS and Congress leaders Yarneni Venkataratnam Babu, Mahbub Jani, District Library Committee Chairman Vangaveeti Rama Rao, BRS Town President SK Nayeem, Mamidi Rama Rao, Karimulla, Kandula Koteswara Rao, councilors and key leaders participated in this program.
