‘Kohra’ brought me closer to Punjabi culture: Harleen Sethi
New Delhi (IANS). Actress Harleen Sethi is looking forward to the release of her streaming show ‘Kohra’. She has been signed for the Netflix show, and it has a heartwarming story. She revealed how her character Nimrat in ‘Kohra’ is a part of her.
Harleen shared a short video and wrote an emotional note along with it. She wrote, “Nimrat is a part of me. As a kid, I always ran away from Punjabi culture. I was born and brought up in this city, which is supposed to be cool, but after getting ‘Kohra’, my life changed. Life got a new direction.”
Harleen further added, “Before starting the shoot, after a workshop, I asked Sudeep sir if I could get ‘Nirbhau Nirvair’ inscribed on my hand in Gurmukhi. Now I wanted something that would be with me till I die. Today I am proud of who I am and where I come from. I intend to take my culture with me and move forward.”
She is very happy with her acting in ‘Gone Game Season 2’, ‘Broken But Beautiful’ and ‘Kathmandu Connection’.
