Kovid cases cross 350 in UP
Lucknow (IANS)| The number of active Covid cases crossed 350 in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night, which is the highest this year. As per the health department data, 66 more people across the state tested Covid positive, including 11 in Lucknow. In the last 24 hours, 46 patients have recovered in the state. Major caseloads in the state are in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Lakhimpur Kheri and Lucknow.
In Lucknow, one woman in Aliganj, two women and two men in Chinhat, two women and three men in Sarojini Nagar and N.K. Road area one person was found Covid positive.
Lucknow now has 41 active Covid cases, the highest this year.
Lucknow District Health Education Officer Yogesh Raghuvanshi said, “No Covid patient is admitted to the hospital in Lucknow.”
He said, it is most important to follow social distancing. You can avoid getting infected by social distancing and using a mask. Crowded places should be avoided.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has put the medical sector on alert in view of rising Covid cases in the state.
