KT Rama Rao: BRS’s victory in MLC by-election a sign of political change

Rama Rao on Sunday said the party’s victory in the Mahbubnagar MLC by-election is a turning point in Telangana’s emerging political landscape. Reacting to BRS candidate Naveen Kumar Reddy’s victory, Rama Rao said the BRS successfully contested the election against the ruling Congress party’s temptations, highlighting the failures of the Congress regime within just six months. He emphasised that the election is a clear demonstration of the voters’ dissatisfaction with the ruling party and their trust in the BRS’ vision for Telangana.
“Winning the MLC seat in the chief minister’s home district is a proud moment for us. This victory not only brings happiness but also increases our responsibilities to a great extent. We are confident that this victory is just the beginning and will pave the way for many more successes in the future.” KTR reiterated that BRS has always been and will continue to be the only party for Hyderabad. He said, “This result once again proves that BRS is a homegrown party of Telangana and reflects the true aspirations of the people.”
