KTR Slams Congress MLAs Over Power Greed
BRS Working President KTR lashed out at Congress MLAs for their greed for power and threatening to kill them. He clarified that funds for sarpanches are not the benevolence of MLAs but a right granted by the Constitution. Who are the MLAs for not giving Indiramma houses? They are not their property. Are they selling their own properties and building them?
KTR felicitated the recently elected Sarpanch, Sub-Sarpanch and ward members of Khanapur constituency at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. Several Sarpanchs who won as independent candidates were invited to the party by covering them with pink scarves. Speaking on the occasion, KTR clarified that government funds are not the property of Congress MLAs. He said that the Congress government has cheated the BCs and reduced the reservations to 17 percent. He said that the Congress hastily held elections only for the funds of Rs 3,500 crore coming from the center. He said that 70 percent of the Finance Commission funds will go directly to the Gram Panchayats. He made it clear that no one has the right or authority to stop them. He said that the pink flag is flying on the land of Khanapur.
KTR said that the CM is campaigning for the Sarpanch elections like never before in history. NTR, YSR and KCR never campaigned for the Sarpanch elections. He criticized that Revanth is doing it. He said that CM Revanth Reddy is indirectly campaigning for the elections in the villages in the name of victory celebrations. He expressed his regret that the villages have gone into crisis after the Congress came.
