Kurud police caught liquor smuggler
Dhamtari. Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur has directed the station in-charges to run a continuous campaign to effectively curb anti-social activities and illegal liquor sales in the district. During this, information was received from the informer that a person named Golu Dhimar, a resident of Kurud, was illegally carrying a large quantity of liquor on foot from the native temple shop for sale. On the information on which the accused Bhanupratap alias Golu Dhimar has been caught near the hut on Kurud Charra main road after taking raid action by summoning the accompanying staff and witnesses.
