Several injured in Thrissur bus collision; driver critical

THRISSUR: A KSRTC bus and a private bus collided at Uduvadi in Chelakkara. The accident involved a KSRTC bus running on the Thrissur-Kottayam route and a private bus named Manamel running on the Shoranur-Chelakkara route. Thrissur – Horn-Blowing Fight – Three people, including a father and son, were stabbed in a fight over honking in Thrissur; the accused is absconding.

The accident occurred around 8 am today. Both drivers sustained serious injuries. The KSRTC driver had to be rescued by cutting the cabin. Several passengers were also injured. They were admitted to the Chelakkara Government Taluk Hospital, Medical College, and a private hospital in Chelakkara.
