Lakhs of rupees stolen from an empty house, cash and jewellery stolen

Mohan Nagar police station in-charge Monica Pandey said that Manoj Prasad has lodged a complaint of theft in his house. Police have registered a crime under section 305 (A), 331 (4). A team was sent to the spot for investigation. On inspecting the spot, it was found that the thieves had entered inside by breaking the lock of the door on the side of the house. No one was at home when the theft took place.
Manoj Prasad has told the police in his complaint that he does a private job. On July 29, at 3 pm, he had gone to Deoghar Bol Bam Yatra with his family after locking the house. When he returned home at 11 pm on August 6, he saw that the lock of the side door of the house was broken. When he went inside, he saw that the locks of all three bedrooms were broken. The unknown accused broke the lock of the cupboard kept in the bedroom and took away gold and silver jewellery and cash from there. The police have started investigating the case.
