Law and order problem in Tamil Nadu: Naina Nagendran’s letter to Home Minister Amit Shah
Tamil Nadu: BJP leader Naina Nagendran has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, requesting him to intervene and resolve the deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu.
Her letter states:
On December 28, two men attacked Suraj (A), a migrant worker from West Bengal, in Coimbatore. Similarly, Baijit Khan and Prakash were attacked in a scuffle with an auto driver in the Ukkadam area.
On December 30, four marijuana-intoxicated youths attacked another migrant worker in Tiruttani, Tiruvallur district. Another brutal incident occurred at the same railway station, where two intoxicated youths attacked a passenger.
These incidents demonstrate that attacks on migrant workers are increasing due to the increasing drug addiction among young people in Tamil Nadu. These incidents also highlight the failure of law and order in Tamil Nadu.
The deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu is creating fear among the public, especially women and children. Therefore, appropriate action must be taken to intervene in this matter and ensure the safety of the people of Tamil Nadu, Naina Nagendran requested in her letter.
