Bengaluru: A rival gang has attacked a Tamil Nadu DMK leader in a hotel in Bengaluru. Whose video is going viral on social media. After this attack, concern has increased in the state capital. The incident is of 4th September. The attack was carried out when DMK leader VK Guruswamy was sitting and talking to a broker at a hotel in Kammanahalli, Bengaluru. In the footage, a gang of five people are seen entering the hotel and brutally attacking him.
However, Guruswamy notices the gang and tries to escape, but the gang catches him and makes him run around the hotel and beat him. Police said 64-year-old Guruswami was stabbed more than 70 times with a sword.
After this he was taken to the hospital, where his treatment is continuing. Banaswadi police, which registered a case in this regard, has resolved the matter. Police found that the attack was carried out by the state’s unruly Pandian gang. The police had arrested the attackers Karthik, Vinod Kumar and Prasanna. Guruswami had close relations with the politicians of Madurai. Tamil Nadu Police has opened a history sheet against him. He is accused of being involved in eight murders.
East DCP Bhima Shankar Guled said Guruswamy faces charges of murder, attempt to murder and is a history-sheeter at Kirutai police station. He had enmity with another gang for 30 years. Guruswamy is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The real estate agent who was accompanying him also suffered serious injuries. Further investigation is ongoing in the matter.
