Legal literacy camp organized in Bijapur
Bijapur. “Human On the occasion of Rights Day, on 10 December 2023, a legal literacy camp was organized at Mahadevghat Bijapur, 229 battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force posted in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh state.
Tajuddin Asif, Chief Judicial Magistrate Bijapur/Chairman, Taluka Vidhi Seva Samiti Bijapur, District-Bijapur (Chhattisgarh) with the help of Shri Sunil Kumar Mishra, Deputy Inspector General of 229 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force, has given the “Human Addressed on the occasion of Rights Day.
Regarding “Human Rights Day”, Tajuddin Asif, Chief Judicial Magistrate Bijapur / President, Taluka Legal Service Committee Bijapur, District- Bijapur (Chhattisgarh) told that every year 10th December is celebrated as “Human Rights Day”. . This declaration was universally accepted by the United Nations General Assembly in the year 1948 to understand the importance of promotion and protection of human rights.
Human rights are available to humans since birth. Human rights are those fundamental rights which cannot be deprived of human beings on the basis of race, caste, nationality, religion, gender etc. The purpose of celebrating Human Rights Day is to make people aware of their rights, human rights also include the right to health, economic, social and education.
The personnel of 229 battalion of Central Reserve Police Force were specially encouraged to prevent human rights violations in relation to the general public as victims of Naxalite incidents, since District Bijapur is a Naxalite affected tribal dominated area. “After explaining the importance of Human Rights Day, Chief Judicial Magistrate Tajuddin Asif also answered the questions asked by the officers and soldiers present.
