Lenovo transparent laptop concept to be introduced at the MWC 2024; Know expected specs
Leading computer manufacturer Lenovo will be introducing the transparent laptop concept at the MWC 2024. This is expected from a teaser as well as leaked renders. Tipster, Evan Blass has revealed the expected design of the laptop in his latest X (earlier Twitter) post.
The display side of the laptop is totally transparent and is expected to be transparent OLED. The display technology is something which is developed by LG and Samsung. On the other hand, the deck of the laptop is also see through. However, the main components of the deck are hidden under the opaque chin. A slim bezel runs around the rim. The keyboard is touch sensitive and is embedded into the panel. The ports are expected to be present on either side of the touch-sensitive keyboard.
Even though we do not have any details about the specs about the device, it is expected to run on Windows 11 and offer a design language that is quite similar to Lenovo’s other laptops.
Lenovo also offers a much-needed upgrade to its lineup of laptops.
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G4 is now a 2-in-1 touchscreen with 360-degree hinge and can be used as either a tent or a tablet mode. The laptop loses some ports and on the right side it gets power button, a microSD card reader, USB-A, and Kensington lock. On the left we get a headphone/mic combo, two USB-C ports, along with a USB-A port.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G5 (both Intel as well as AMD versions) also get a bunch of upgrades. The laptop range gets a notch update along with revision in ports.
On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 that is bigger laptop also gets an upgrade in the form of notch.
We also get upgrades in the Lenovo ThinkPad x12 Detachable Gen 2 as well as the Lenovo ThinkVision M14T Gen 2.
