Leopard died after being hit by a vehicle

Bijnor (IANS). A female leopard died after being hit by a speeding vehicle in UP’s Bijnor district. Leopard was found dead on Friday morning on National Highway 74 in Rehar police station area of Bijnor district.

According to forest officials, the leopard is a female, whose age is between three years and four years.

It is being told that the leopard died after being hit by an unknown vehicle while crossing the road. The body has been sent to the District Forest Office for postmortem.

Forest officials said they have registered a case and efforts are on to identify the vehicle.

The SDO said that the body of the female leopard has been sent for postmortem.

According to sources, the leopard was roaming in the area for the last 10 days, causing panic among the people.
