Lights off, supply affected due to fire in electric pole

Korba: A fire broke out from an electric pole on Gram Panchayat Salihabhatha road. The reason for this is being said to be short circuit. Due to this, power supply was affected in some areas. The villagers informed the electricity department about this.

Villagers told that fires have broken out here many times. Fire also occurs due to high voltage. The electric wires are quite old. Unable to bear the pressure even when consumption increases. Work is also being done to fix the power supply system in the area.
