Lizzo controversy heats up, six more ex-colleagues allege sexual harassment
Los Angeles (IANS). American rapper and singer Lizzo’s troubles have increased now. Singer Lizzo, already embroiled in an allegation of sexual harassment involving three former backup dancers, is facing new charges, with six more of her former co-workers accusing her of sexual harassment.
Singer Lizzo was sued by her backup dancers Ariana Davis, Crystal Williams and Noel Rodriguez. In which it was said that Lijo had sexually assaulted her.
Lijo said on these allegations that these allegations are false, I am being targeted for skin colour, fame and success.
She had previously said in a statement on social media, “I am the victim, not the villain.”
Six more people have come forward making similar allegations against Lizzo. According to Billboard, Ron Zambrano, an attorney representing the victims, said that since filing the complaint, we have received six more such cases.
Ron Zambrano said Noel, Crystal and Ariana did a brave act. Other victims have also been encouraged by his doing so. He said that the claims we are reviewing include sexual allegations and allegations of non-payment.
Although, after the controversy, many people including celebrities have accused him, but there are many people who are supporting him. The controversy led to the cancellation of the major American music festival ‘Made in America’.
The lawsuit filed against the singer alleges she mistreated her co-workers and discriminated against the sick.
