Love marriage 3 months ago, then husband ran away with another girl, wife hanged herself

Raigarh: In the district, troubled by her husband’s infidelity, a newly married woman committed suicide by hanging herself. Both of them had a love marriage 3 months ago. But after this her husband had taken away another girl from the locality. After receiving information about suicide, the police reached the spot on Monday and sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem. The incident took place in Kotra Road police station area.

According to the information, 19 year old Saroj Pradhan was having an affair with her neighbor Omika Yaduvanshi at Chiraipani Indira residence in Kirori Mal Nagar. After which both of them had a court marriage only 3 months ago. After marriage, Saroj was living in her in-laws’ house. Recently, Saroj got hurt when her husband Omika Yaduvanshi took away another girl from the locality. Seeing their daughter in trouble, her parents brought her to their home. Where on Monday afternoon, Saroj committed suicide by hanging herself at home.
