Ludhiana: Athletics meet to be held tomorrow at Vet Varsity

Ludhiana: Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University will host its 18th annual athletics meet on March 3, officials said. Director of Students’ Welfare, Ravinder Singh Aulakh, said preparations for the event are complete. Sharing details, he said that Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian will inaugurate the meet at 10 a.m. at the Punjab Agricultural University track. Vice-Chancellor JPS Gill congratulated all participants and expressed hope that the students would continue to bring laurels to the university and the country. He said that such events provide students with a refreshing break and help them recharge. Organizing Secretary of the meet, Bilawal Singh, said that students are performing well in sports and co-curricular activities in inter-university competitions. He said that students from various colleges in Ludhiana, Bathinda, and Amritsar will participate in the event.
