Ludhiana: Luxury car catches fire in Model Town

Ludhiana: Tension gripped Model Town on Sunday afternoon when a luxury car parked outside a house suddenly burst into flames. Thick black smoke could be seen rising from the house, alarming neighbors. Fire department officials said they received the call around 1:20 p.m. and immediately dispatched a fire engine to the scene. The fire was brought under control within minutes, preventing it from spreading further.

The car belonged to Dilbag Rai, a resident of the same house. He explained that the fire was caused by a short circuit. He added, “Fortunately, the car was parked near the lawn and we were all inside the house. None of us were injured.” Seeing the flames, people in nearby houses ran out, worried about the safety of their families. Fortunately, the fire was confined to the car.
