This road has become an eyesore for every passerby. Due to frequent rains, the garbage has turned into filth and foul smell is spreading. The foul smell arising from the garbage has made it impossible to pass through the road. There are many government offices near the road, but no one cares about the condition of this place. The offices of the Zila Parishad Department, Water Supply Department, Post Office and Vigilance Bureau are also located near the road.
An employee working at a juice shop located near the area said that with the monsoon season going on, the situation has really worsened and the need of the hour is to clean this place and remove the garbage from time to time. The garbage should be managed effectively. We pay tax every year, but the Municipal Corporation has failed to remove the garbage from this place, posing a threat to the residents. This is not the only exception. Civil Lines resident Upasana said, garbage is piling up at various places in the city, which needs to be removed regularly. Prakash Sinha, who came to the Zila Parishad office, said that there was a time when this place was bustling with activity. There are courts here, but now it has become a garbage dump. He said, the concerned authorities should pay attention to this. A large amount of garbage is dumped here, which has become a breeding ground for flies and mosquitoes.
Manjeet Singh, who often visits the old famous chole-kulche shop, said that earlier coming here would refresh old memories, but now there is a foul smell from here.
