Ludhiana: Three people have been booked for allegedly possessing mobile phones in jail.

Ludhiana: Three more prisoners at Ludhiana Central Jail were booked on Thursday under Section 52 A (1) of the Prisons Act for possessing and using wireless and digital devices. Police seized three mobile phones from the suspects, identified as Satinder Pal Singh, Ajay Kumar, and Gurjit Singh.
In the past few months, several people, including prisoners and government employees, have been booked and prohibited items have been seized from them. Investigating officer Gurpreet Singh said that the case was registered at Division Number 7 police station on Thursday based on a letter written by Assistant Superintendent Vijay Kumar on October 10.
