Mahesh Babu says Priyanka Chopra is in top form
Entertainment Entertainment: Superstar Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli are currently working on a major project, currently titled Varanasi. This large-scale film aims to showcase India’s filmmaking and storytelling talent on a global platform. Shooting is currently underway, starring Mahesh Babu alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Amidst his busy schedule, Mahesh Babu recently took to social media to praise Priyanka Chopra’s performance in the Hollywood release “The Bluff,” an Amazon Prime Video original. After watching the film, he called it a good entertainer, packed with gripping action and emotion. Sharing his thoughts on X, Mahesh Babu wrote, “@priyankachopra is in top form. She exceeded all expectations with a powerful and packed performance… Sending all my love to the team for their brilliant work.”
In response, Priyanka Chopra replied, “Thank you, my friend. See you soon in Antarctica,” hinting that the next schedule of Varanasi may be in Antarctica.
Recently, Mahesh Babu went to Georgia for the film’s ongoing schedule, and according to the latest update, the team is expected to head to Antarctica next. The film is being produced by KL Narayan under the Durga Arts banner, along with SS Karthikeya of Showing Business. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani is composing the music, while the story is written by Vijayendra Prasad.
Designed for a spectacular IMAX experience, the film will release worldwide in multiple languages on April 7, 2027. Prakash Raj and R Madhavan are also part of the lead cast. Stay tuned for more updates.
