Mahtari Vandan Yojana form found unclaimed
Raipur/Korba. The Election Department has taken action on filling the forms related to Mahtari Vandan Yojana included in BJP’s manifesto. The Election Department team reached the house of a BJP leader of Dhodhipara and Darri and seized the form. On the other hand, the forms that were thrown abandoned near Risdi have been recovered by the Commission team.
Photocopy of people’s Aadhar card is also attached with these forms. BJP has announced to provide an amount of one thousand rupees per month to women of all categories under Mahtari Vandan Yojana in Chhattisgarh. BJP has also included this scheme in its manifesto. Currently the election code of conduct is in force. In such a situation, political parties can make announcements, but no process of any kind can be adopted to implement them.
Despite this, BJP workers were publishing the forms on their behalf and setting up camps in the streets and filling the forms. A complaint about this was made in the control room of the election department on Saturday. The first action was taken in Bhaishkhatal of Dhodhipara. Here some BJP workers were making women fill applications by placing a table and chair in front of a house. Besides, photocopy of Aadhar card was also being taken from them.
The Election Department team reached the spot and took action to confiscate the application form. On the other hand, the Election Department raided the house of former councilor and BJP leader Narayan Thakur, living in Nagoikhar, Darri, after receiving information about the form being filled. A large number of application forms have been seized from here also. BJP’s application forms were filled with women in the entire state. A complaint about this has been made at the top level of the Congress organization in Raipur.
The Election Department has issued a notice to the state president of BJP. Here in Korba also this issue has started gaining momentum. There has been a stir among BJP workers after one action after another. A large number of discarded forms were found near the petrol pump in Balco Marg of Risdi Chowk. The workers threw away these forms out of fear. The names, addresses and mobile numbers of the women are mentioned in these forms.
