Mahua Moitra will appear before the Ethics Committee of Lok Sabha on October 31
Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra’s troubles are increasing in the case of taking bribe in exchange for asking questions in Parliament. Following the complaint made by MP Nishikant Dubey, the first meeting of the Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha was held on Thursday in this matter. In this meeting, statements of complainant Nishikant Dubey and lawyer Jai Ananth Dehadrai have been recorded. At the same time, the date of sending summons to Mahua Moitra has also been decided in the meeting. After the meeting of the Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha in the Mahua Moitra case, Committee Chairman Vinod Sonkar said that the statements of the two people who were called today i.e. lawyers Jai Ananth and Nishikant Dubey were heard. Vinod Sonkar said that the evidence presented by lawyers Jai Ananth and Nishikant Dubey was also considered. After the first meeting of the Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha, Vinod Sonkar said that considering the seriousness of the matter, the committee has decided to call Mahua Moitra. MP Mahua Moitra has been asked to appear on October 31.
At the same time, the second committee has also decided to send a letter to the IT Ministry and MHA for the details of the conversation between Darshan Hiranandani, Mahua Moitra and lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has accused Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra of Adani Group and the Prime Minister. Allegations of bribery transactions have been made to target Narendra Modi. Nishikant Dubey says that lawyer Dehadrai has shared such evidence of bribe transaction between Moitra and businessman Darshan Hiranandani to target Adani Group and Prime Minister Narendra Modi which cannot be dismissed. Mahua Moitra has completely rejected these allegations, whereas businessman Darshan Hiranandani has accepted these allegations.
