Ranchi: The CID, investigating alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) 14th Civil Services Examination and other exams, took significant action on Thursday. A CID team conducted raids at the residence of former JPSC Chairman L. Khiangte and his office chamber within the Commission premises. Additionally, inspections were carried out at the JPSC office and the premises of TSR Data Processing Private Limited (TDPL), the agency responsible for conducting the examination.
According to sources, the CID team examined various important documents, electronic devices, and records related to the examination process during the raids. The investigating agency aims to determine whether there were any irregularities in the conduct of the exam, question paper preparation, the evaluation process, or the declaration of results. However, no official details regarding what was recovered during the raids have been disclosed so far.
