Major fire in solar plant
Agar Malwa. The morale of miscreants is increasing in Madhya Pradesh. The latest case is from Agar Malwa district where an incident of arson was carried out by unknown miscreants in Umaria Solar Plant. As soon as information about the incident was received, the Municipal Council’s fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The company suffered a loss of lakhs in this incident. The police is investigating this entire matter.
The matter pertains to the solar plant located at Naharkheda Balda near village Umaria in Susner police station area of the district. Where unknown miscreants carried out the incident of arson. The company has suffered a loss of lakhs in this incident. The incident is said to have happened late last night. After receiving the information, the Municipal Council’s fire brigade reached the spot and tried to control the fire. After getting the information on Tuesday afternoon, Agar Collector Raghavendra Singh and SP Vinodkumar Singh inspected the incident site.
SP Vinodkumar Singh said that a report has been lodged by the company manager Raghunandan Patidar that this incident of arson has been carried out by an unknown person by cutting the wire fencing at the rear of the plant. A case has been registered in this matter under section 436 IPC. The entire place has been sealed at present and a team has been formed for a thorough investigation. Along with this, dog squad has also been called, in this incident the company has suffered a loss of about Rs 79 lakh. More than 500 solar plates of the company have been burnt to ashes.
