Major power cut in S Goa on 17th December

PANAJI: There will be no energy supply in South Goa district except in some stretches from 7 am to 3 pm on December 17 due to annual maintenance works, the electricity department said on Friday.
The closure will affect Canacona, Salcete (except Raia, Curtorim, Lutolim and Makazana), Sanguem, Quepem, Mormugao, part of Dharbandora taluka (Kirlapal-Dabal, Shigao-Kolem, Mollem), part of Taluka. Ponda (Panchadi), all the industrial polygons in the south of Goa and the hydraulic plant of Selaulim at Zelapem.
