Make gourd barfi at home whenever you feel like it, such a sweet which will satisfy you
Generally, bottle gourd (ghee) vegetable is prepared in abundance in homes. We all know that bottle gourd is very beneficial to eat. Many diseases can be avoided by consuming it. Although many people are reluctant to eat it. Today we will tell you the method of making bottle gourd barfi. It is very delicious in taste. Since bottle gourd is available in the market for 12 months nowadays, you can make barfi from it whenever you feel like. It can be said that whenever you want to eat homemade sweets, this is a great option.
Material
1 kg bottle gourd
1/4 cup – Ghee
1.5 cups (300 grams) sugar
250 grams – grated mawa
1/2 cup cashew nuts
7 to 8 – almonds
6 to 7 – cardamom
Method
- First of all clean the gourd thoroughly.
-Wipe it with a clean cloth and then peel it.
After this, either grate it or cut it lengthwise and remove the seeds and anus. - Cut the bottle gourd into small parts and then grind it finely.
- Press it with both hands and extract the juice.
- Take a pan and add 2 teaspoons of ghee in it and add grated bottle gourd in it.
Then fry it and close the lid of the pan. - Let it cook on low flame until it becomes soft. (Take care that the gourd does not burn)
Then add powdered sugar to it and keep stirring for 2 minutes. - During this time, if it releases water, cook it while stirring for 5-10 minutes.
- Add khoya to it and mix well.
Then mix chopped tri fruits in it. - After this, apply ghee in the plate and spread the mixture.
- When it becomes hard, cut it into desired shape. With this the barfi is ready.
