Malayalam actor Poojapura Ravi passes away at the age of 86

Thiruvananthapuram (IANS) | Poojapura Ravi, one of the senior most actors of the Malayalam film industry, passed away on Sunday at Marayoor in Idukki district. He was 86 years old. Poojapura Ravi acted in more than 800 films. His last film was ‘Guppy’, with All India actor Tovino Thomas as the protagonist. He started his career under the late N.K. Acharya’s drama troupe ‘Kalanilayam’, who was one of the stalwarts of Malayalam theatre. Ravi then moved to the film industry and had appearances in several films.

The actor shifted from Thiruvananthapuram to his residence in Idukki in December 2022.

Regarding the last rites of the late actor, the relatives said that it would be announced later.
