Mamata Banerjee Warns, “I Know Your History, Every Detail”
Mamata Banerjee’s threat during election campaign . Mamata challenged the IT raids on the homes of Trinamool leaders and workers as politically motivated, saying, “BJP is sending people to threaten everyone. They are raiding party offices. If you have the courage, fight me directly.” Mamata, while campaigning for the election in Panchla, Howrah on Saturday, attacked the BJP and said sarcastically, “They do not have the power. They do not have a single majority. They are sitting in the House with the support of others. When the fall begins, everything will go.”
Mamata alleged that people from BJP-ruled states or from BJP families have been sent to Bengal during the election. They are ordering arrests of Trinamool people on sight. In Mamata’s words, ‘They are saying arrest the agents, conduct raids. I tell them that I know all your history. We know every name, every address, where you work.’
Mamata warns that BJP will not exist in the future. If we do not work impartially, people will take revenge. On this day, Mamata once again reminded the leaders and workers to keep an alternative team of agents ready. She alleged that some of the BJP’s ‘family observers’ are pressuring the SDO to arrest Trinamool leaders. Pressure is being exerted even though there is no case.
IT raids were conducted on the house and office of Trinamool candidate Debashis Kumar of Rash Behari throughout the day on Friday. On that day, Mamata said, ‘My candidate was not allowed to campaign all day yesterday (Friday). Mr. Income Tax, isn’t this an illegal action before the election? You can do whatever the BJP says. But don’t become a parrot of the BJP. All those in the administration should work impartially.’
