man stabbed to death

Thrissur: A 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by a gang in a central Kerala district, police said on Tuesday. He said that this incident happened near the passport office in Diwanjimula here late on Monday night.

West police here said that the deceased has been identified as Shrirag, a resident of nearby Olari.

“The man died…some others were injured. Srirag’s brother is also feared injured in the incident,” a police officer said.

Police said that investigative procedures are underway and the exact reasons and other details behind the incident can be revealed only after a thorough investigation.
