Mani Bakrid in UP with peace and harmony

Uttar Pradesh | The festival of Bakrid was celebrated in an atmosphere of peace and harmony in Uttar Pradesh. On the appeal of Chief Minister Yogi, religious leaders also came forward and no religious activities like namaz etc. were held by obstructing road traffic in any district. Not only this, in all the districts, the sacrifice was done at the fixed and marked places and immediately after that the waste was also disposed of.
In the past, CM Yogi had asked the officers to be extra sensitive to the police/administration on the occasion of festivals like Bakrid, Shravan month, Muharram etc. Along with this, citing the problems faced by the general public by stopping the traffic on the road and offering Namaz, instructions were also given to hold a dialogue with the religious leaders in this regard. The positive effect of Chief Minister’s efforts was seen and Namaz was not held anywhere on the road.
On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the police remained alert in all the districts regarding the security arrangements on the occasion of Bakrid. According to estimates, prayers were offered in more than 33 thousand Idgahs and mosques in the state. There is no report of any untoward incident from anywhere. UP Police had identified more than 2200 sensitive places and hot spots regarding Bakrid. In the past, more than 2400 meetings of the Peace Committee were also held. The police also appeared prepared to deal with anti-social elements.
238 Company PAC, 3 Company SDRF, 7 Company CAPF and 7570 Under Trainee Sub-Inspectors led by Gazetted Officers were deployed to deal with any trouble created by unruly elements in the guise of festival. Monitoring was done with Body Worn Camera, Wayne Cooler, Drone, High Resolution CCTV Camera. Over 1.25 lakh civilian police personnel were strategically deployed to ensure peace and maintain law and order in the state. In addition, around 4,800 Police Response Vehicles (PRVs) of ‘UP 112’ and Integrated Police Emergency Response Center are patrolling round the clock.
New tradition of peace and harmony being created in UP The efforts of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who considers social harmony and law and order as top priority, have started paying off. Religious events with peace and harmony are becoming a tradition in UP, so Yogi’s law and order has also set an example in front of other states. After amicably resolving the problem of bulldozer model and unnecessary loudspeakers at religious places, Yogi Adityanath’s law and order model is now being appreciated for presenting a consensus solution to the problem of offering Namaz on the road.
