Manipur violence should be discussed in the House, Prime Minister Modi should answer: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary
New Delhi (IANS). Congress leader in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, has demanded a discussion in the Lok Sabha on the issue of violence in Manipur during the Monsoon session and a reply by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday after speaking at the BAC meeting of the House chaired by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and the all-party meeting chaired by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary said that on behalf of the Congress, he In both the meetings, the issue of Manipur violence, price rise, India-China border situation, trade between India and China, floods and attack on India’s federal structure by the central government has been sought to be discussed.
He said that clapping is done with both hands, we have not come to Delhi to visit, we have come to discuss in the House. We want there to be a discussion in the House so that we get a chance to raise our issues. But, running the house is the responsibility of the government. Along with this, he also added that the government wants to pass 31 bills in the 17-day session.
