Recently he talked about the politics prevailing in the industry. During this, he mentioned Sushant Singh Rajput and was seen exposing nepotism prevalent in Bollywood.
‘Sushant’s death was a big blow’
During a media interaction, Manoj Bajpayee said that he was shocked by the sudden death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor further added that both of them had a good bonding during the film ‘Sonchiriya’. Manoj said, ‘Both of us were very close. I often used to cook mutton on the sets and Sushant would always come to eat. I really did not know that Sushant would take such a step one day. Manoj said that Sushant could not tolerate the politics going on in the industry.
Manoj said that there is always politics in the industry. Along with getting success, it keeps getting dirtier. These things never bothered me, but he couldn’t handle the pressure. He talked to me about worrying about these things. These things were affecting him.
