Maoist got heart attack, died

Bastar. Maoist and CPI Maoist with prize money of 1.55 crore number two Kattam Sudarshan died due to heart attack. Maoist spokesperson Abhay gave information in the release. It has been involved or has been a key planner in several major attacks in Bastar, Odisha and Andhra.

There were a total of 17 criminal cases against Sudarshan. Sudarshan had also attacked CRPF jawans in Dantewada two years ago, in which 70 CRPF jawans were martyred. It was Sudarshan who conspired to attack Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh on 28th of last month. Yana has been leading the Maoist movement in the tribal areas from northern Telangana to Dandakaranya in Chhattisgarh for the past three decades. His wife Sadhna had died in an encounter a few years back. Katakam Sudarshan of Manchirayala district joined the People’s War Group led by Kondapalli Sitaramaiah in 1980. He studied at Sudarshan Warangal Polytechnic, Katakam before joining the People’s War. Anand played an important role in the expansion of the Maoist movement in the tribal region of Dandakaranyam in Chhattisgarh, including the unbroken Andhra Pradesh state.
