Maoists arrested for firing and exploding jawans
Dantewada: A joint team of state police units-District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Bastar Fighters arrested four Naxalites from a forest near Gonderas village under Aranpur police station limits during a search operation on Saturday.
He said that based on intelligence received about the presence of Naxalites, the operation was conducted in Potali, Kakadi and Gonderas villages. The officer said that on seeing the patrolling team, all four Naxalites tried to run away but were chased and caught. He said that during interrogation, all four “confessed” to being associated with the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist).
He said that the names of the four arrested Naxalites are Rava Muka (25), Muka Kalmu (23), Hidma Rava (32) and Madvi Bhima (30). The officer said they were involved in the incident of firing and blasts targeting security personnel in Aranpur area last year.
