Mark Zuckerberg called India a world leader
Mark Zuckerberg: The name of Mark Zuckerberg, one of the richest people in the world and owner of Facebook, has been included among the influential people who have brought respect to India. Mark Zuckerberg has praised India before also. In the latest case he described India as a world guru. He said that the people and companies of India are at the forefront in adopting technology.
Mark was addressing virtually
Messaging platform WhatsApp launched payment solutions and several other features at an event on Wednesday. WhatsApp and Facebook are now part of the Meta company, whose CEO is Mark Zuckerberg. He was virtually addressing a WhatsApp program organized in Mumbai. During this address he made comments in praise of India.
Verification for companies
On this occasion, WhatsApp announced to join hands with PayU and Razorpay. With this collaboration, WhatsApp users will be able to make payments through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI app etc. Apart from this, Mark Zuckerberg also started the verification feature for business on WhatsApp. He said that many Indian companies are demanding such features from them, through which customers can identify real and fake.
WhatsApp’s new feature ‘Flow’
During the event, Mark Zuckerberg also introduced a new feature called WhatsApp Flows. This feature will allow companies to customize and personalize chat. Zuckerberg explained this feature by giving an example. Suppose there is a bank, then through this facility it can provide the facility to the customers to open a bank account or avail its other services through chat. Similarly, airlines can facilitate ticket booking. In this, customers will be able to avail the service without leaving the chat.
India is at the forefront in these matters
In his address, Meta CEO appreciated how India has adopted digital payments. He said that the people of India and Indian companies are at the forefront in adopting technology. India is also leading the world in how people and companies can use messaging to accomplish various tasks.
