Married sister’s death, brother said – she was not ill, accused of murder

Balrampur: The woman died suddenly in Ramchandrapur police station area of the district. But the father and brother of the deceased have accused the in-laws of murder by strangulation. The father of the deceased has submitted a complaint about the entire matter in the name of the Superintendent of Police at Ramchandrapur police station and has demanded to file a report. The deceased’s father says that the post-mortem of the deceased was conducted at Ramanujganj Health Center and the body was handed over to the family for cremation.

Married woman Sandhya Yadav died suddenly in Uchurava village of Ramchandrapur police station area. The deceased lived in her in-laws’ house. As soon as the maternal side of the deceased Sandhya got the news of her death, her father and brother accused the in-laws of assault. Also, the parents have accused the in-laws of harassing them for dowry and killing them by strangulation. A written complaint has been given to the police station by the maternal side in the name of the Superintendent of Police. Also, a demand has been made to file a report and take action.

Arun Yadav, brother of the deceased, said, “I got information on the phone that my sister was unwell. The sister told on the phone that she was being beaten by her in-laws. It was only on the phone that I came to know that she had died.” . My sister’s mother-in-law told me on phone that deceased Sandhya had fallen. I asked how did this happen, what was the problem? Then she said that there was no problem. She suddenly fell, due to which she died. I suspect that “Something has been done by the in-laws. She was not already ill. My sister was being cremated in a hurry by the in-laws.”
