Surguja: An already married woman along with her lover attempted suicide by consuming poison. The incident took place in Lakhanpur police station area. A 25 year old married woman and her lover consumed poison. On getting information, the family members took both of them to Lakhanpur Health Center for treatment, where the youth died. Due to the serious condition of the woman, she was referred to Ambikapur.

The police reached the spot, prepared Panchnama of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The love affair between the woman and the young man was going on for a long time. Due to some issue both of them consumed poison. At present the police is investigating the matter. The reasons for consuming poison are not yet known.

According to the police, the woman is already married. But apart from her husband, she also had a love affair with a young man. Both of them consumed poison together. The lover died in this. After consuming poison, both of them were brought to the Community Health Center of Lakhanpur for treatment. Here the lover died in serious circumstances. Due to the serious condition of the girlfriend, the doctors have referred her to the Medical College Hospital, Ambikapur. He is being treated at Ambikapur Medical College Hospital.
